"Rosé All Day" captures four roseate spoonbills soaring across the Gulf Coast sky, their vibrant pink hues evoking elegance, playfulness, and resilience. This impressionistic work celebrates the spoonbill’s remarkable comeback from a threatened species, thanks to habitat restoration efforts in recent years. Distinct from flamingos, these birds shine as a signifier species, always quickly reflecting the health of their native ecosystems. My artwork reflects my artist statement’s focus on nature’s interconnected resilience, showcasing the spoonbills’ unique charm and ecological importance.
