"Ringling Resilience" Fine Art Print

Hurricane Debby hit Sarasota unexpectedly in August 2024, 2 months later - Helene and Milton hit one week apart. This is the first painting of 6 from my “Sarasota Strong” collection. Painted as the buckets of rain from Debby began to hit with wind that sounded like the windows of my art studio would blow out, and again working to the last second as Helene rolled in before I evacuated to the mainland for safety - Some of this collection I even evacuated with me with for safekeeping to Orlando during Milton. I didn’t know if I would have a studio to come back to, but here we are. My kids helped me to do the underpainting and abstract background on several paintings from this series as well.
