"FEELS LIKE FRIDAY" ARTIST STATEMENT:
Sometimes the best paintings come when you least expect them. This beauty came easily and effortlessly, and that is part of the magic too of this beautiful painting. It was painted on a Friday spontaneously, and it feels like a Friday just to look at it. It started as play, an experiment, trying new paint and techniques out. The whimsical gold bamboo frame is the crowning touch. To summarize, I’ll be clearing Fridays for more fun painting time bc those tgif happy vibes are real and I want to give them a chance to show up on paintings, if they want to 🥂
